About The Dallenbach Ranch
Purchased by Indy Car driver, Wally Dallenbach, in 1973, The Dallenbach Ranch is oneof-a-kind Colorado getaway. The Dallenbach family lives on the property and maintains all cabins, landscaping, and manages events.
The ranch sits on one mile of the famous Frying Pan River, which is know for its gold medal fly fishing. Located 5 minutes from downtown Basalt and 30 minutes from Aspen, guests can enjoy a wide-selection of restaurants, shops, world-class skiing, and outdoor adventure sports. The property is surrounded by mountain BLM land, making it a private and unique destination.
From June-October The Dallenbach Ranch is a coveted venue for all kinds of events and weddings. Our riverfront ceremony space highlights the beauty of Colorado with the river and towering red rock as the backdrop. The ranch also has 3 rustic, riverfront cabins for rent, located only inches away from the Frying Pan River. Our cabins can sleep 2-7 guests, and our guests also gain access to fish our private section of the river.

Whether celebrating a wedding, graduation party, anniversary, or fundraiser, The Dallenbach Ranch is a breathtaking setting for your event. When booking our event space, we include a 40′ x 80′ white tent, a smaller catering tent, 2 to 3 days on the property for setup and breakdown, riverfront ceremony space, and on-site cabin discounts.
Events at The Dallenbach Ranch
The Dallenbach Ranch also has several locations available on the ranch for riverside weddings and events as well as other spaces in the mountains behind the ranch. We provide parking up to 250 cars, and we also allow camping for guests attending an event on the ranch. We have no noise restrictions, which sets us apart from other venues in the valley.
